Thu30Aug20187:00 pmTrinity United Church
It's summertime and I'm coming home. Sing songs, say poems. Go to ocean, know waves, play show.
I'm excited to announce a special hometown event on Thursday August 30th in Summerside at the Trinity United Church. It's my first time playing in the town I grew up in, whose streets I walked around in, my questions not yet formed. Now, with answers far from clear, I'm putting together a special night of words and music, celebrating questions, feelings, and the summer side of things.
Trinity United Church will be the backdrop for the evening, its open space and vaulted ceilings perfect place for poems and songs. I'm lucky to have some creative and talented friends to call on and will be announcing special guests as the show draws near.
Tickets are $20, with a pay-what-you-can option for anyone lacking cash. I would love to have you in the seats (ok, they're pews...), so let's make money a symbol that works for everyone, at least for a few hours...
To get tickets in advance call Trinity at: 902-436-3155
Tickets also available at the door 7pm
Showtime is 7:30 -
